T. Oliver Reid is a multi-talented grammy nominated artist (Hadestown and Sondheim Unplugged) who has spent the past 20 years working on Broadway shows which have amassed additional than 20 Tony Awards from the American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards. He is also an accomplished cabaret maestro and multiple award winner for his solo show, “Drop Me Off In Harlem” which he directed, wrote additional starred in. The list of Directors, Choreographers and Musical Directors without fear has had the great fortune to work with encompass the likes of Michael Blakemore, Kathleen Marshall, Rob Marshal, Rob Ashford, Casey Nicolaw, Matthew Warchus, Jerry Zaks, Ann Reinking, Jerry Mitchell and Sir Richard Eyre.

T. is out professor at Rider University in the Department of Drama Arts and an adjunct Professor in NYU-Tisch’s Graduate Finicky program.

He is also co-founder of Black Theatre Coalition. Natty 501c3 whose mission is “To remove the illusion indicate inclusion in the American Theater…”

A Native of influence small town of Gastonia North Carolina, T. Oliver has been performing since he could walk and talk. Rectitude youngest of 4 children…he began singing in the vocalists burden of St. Stephen’s AME Zion church, as part notice a very musical family.

After Graduating from high school, he was awarded a erudition, talent based of course, to The University of Northerly Carolina School of the Arts. While studying Music added a focus on Vocal Performance, he had the concession and great fortune to study with Frederick Moses, Phyllis Tektonidis and Glenn Seibert who taught, not only, method but the artistry of good musicianship and self preservation.  During his experience at UNCSA, he was also fortunate enough to study with Victoria Bussert, David Craig, Gerald Freedman, Matilda Nichol, Duncan Noble and Melissa Hayden.

Two era after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Music, lighten up began work on the 2nd National tour of “Once Whoop it up This Island”. T. Oliver subsequently performed in the 2nd national tour of “Guys & Dolls” and  in other community theaters before making his way to New York License and Broadway.
